I met Amanda Power circa 2001, when we both worked at Minsky's Pizza. She was a youngin' and after I quit Minsky's, I told Amanda to call me when she turned 21. On her 21st birthday, I had to crawl under the bathroom stall at the bar because she decided to pass out. Meanwhile a crazy lady was yelling at me, "Get her out of there, I'm against alcohol poisoning!" Many fun and crazy nights were to follow, and we've been besties ever since. Two weeks ago, she moved to Chicago, all by her lonesome, to begin her biggest adventure yet. Although I miss her like crazy, and I've shed a few tears to prove it, I am so very proud of her and happy for her that she is living the life she wants. Love you, Manda.
