Right as winter break ended, I started another vacation as Craig arrived in Europe for the first time. He wears ties and scarves all the time so I knitted this tie for him and the scarf that he is wearing below. I love the tie, I want to make more!
He was interested in seeing Gothic architecture so the Duomo was perfect. I learned that the Navigli canals were built just to transport the tons of marble needed to cover the Duomo. The details on this building are incredible.
We followed the steam-punk-cardinal's suggestion and went up.
